Compare designs

Explore analytical estimates for the five ungated dissemination models. The default preset uses the CIP's ungated comparison points, including M4 at nine picks. It omits the gate and admissions budget of the selected CIP design. Values are model estimates at the settings shown; the CIP separately records measurements and their limits.

One row per design, one column per property, at the settings above. The first column is what everything else is bought with: P(bad) is the chance an epoch's wiring fails to get some publisher's message to everyone, and vs δ is whether that beats the target. The middle columns are what it costs — messages the network sends, copies each node receives, hops before the last node has it, links each node holds. The last are how much room is left: Δμ is how much more of the network could turn adversarial, churn how much of it could simply go offline.
